Whether it’s a talk, workshop, or lightning talk: We’re looking for real-world experiences from the field. Architectural decisions, lessons learned, controversial perspectives, failed approaches, and new ideas related to open infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, and digital sovereignty.
No vendor pitches. No sales presentations. Just content with real practical value.
Speakers receive exclusive access to the Speaker Dinner on the evening before the event. Travel cost support available upon request.

THE VENUES
Saarbrücken is easily accessible.Located directly at the German-French border, ideal for participants from the DACH region, the Benelux area, and the Greater Saar-Lor-Lux region.
The Southwest Digital Track on Thursday and Friday takes place at the historic Saarbrücken Castle. The OpenInfra & CloudNative Track on Saturday and Sunday can be found on the campus of htw saar. Both venues are well connected by public transport and only a few minutes apart.

The Sovereign Cloud Days are created through a strong network of community organizations, technology partners, institutions, and companies that believe in open, sovereign digital infrastructure.
As a new event format, we are consciously building a long-term community format for exchange, knowledge transfer, and genuine networking, and we are looking for additional partners who would like to shape this path with us.

No. Participation in the OpenInfra & CloudNative Days is free of charge. However, prior registration is required so that we can plan reliably.
The Southwest Digital Track (Thursday and Friday) will primarily be held in German.
The OpenInfra & Cloud Native Days over the weekend are primarily in English, as the program is aimed at an international open source, cloud, and infrastructure community. Individual sessions in German are possible.
Yes. Our Call for Presentations is open.
We welcome submissions from practice, ranging from technical deep dives to architectural decisions, as well as lessons learned and controversial perspectives on open infrastructure, cloud native, and digital sovereignty.
Vendor-neutral, practice-oriented contributions are preferred. All submissions will be evaluated by an independent content jury.
Yes, please register in advance.
Participation is free of charge, but registration helps us reliably plan capacities, catering, and the organization of the event.
A separate registration through Southwest Digital is required for the Southwest Digital Track on Thursday and Friday.
No. A recording of the sessions is currently not planned.
We want to consciously focus on live exchange, spontaneous discussions, and personal encounters on site. If anything changes regarding this, we will communicate it transparently in advance.
